Judy Collins Portland Concert reviews
Overall a pretty good show
Mammoth WVH was awesome. I was not familiar with them and discovered a new band I am currently enjoying listening to more. They rocked.
Judy Collins was as expected. Being an 80's kid, I of course have been familiar with them since they came out. It was good to hear them play a lot of their hits live. To be honest, they could improve on stage presence. The bassist Brian Marshall was adding some spice to the stage presence, but Myles Kennedy and Mark Tremonti seemed to have low energy.
I took my son to this show because Red is one of his favorite bands, and he really wanted to see them live. They were high energy, and despite the aforementioned singing, Red put on a great show. His voice leaves some to be desired live, but Michael Barnes is an amazing screamer.
